2025-2026 ASG Election Results

ASG President: Silvano Navarro

Candidate Statement:

Hello, my name is Silvano Navarro. I am running for your ASG President.

For some background, I am a first generation college student; I have struggled in the past with finding resources, community, and opportunity. However, I became involved in school by starting a student club, becoming a leader in student government and pursuing my computer science degree. I started to prosper.

My goal as future ASEVC President is to help students find these avenues for success easier. By utilizing my networking, public speaking, and team building skills, I hope to bring community, opportunities, and advocate for student needs

ASG Trustee: Ariana Estrada

Candidate Statement:

My name is Ariana Estrada, and I am running to serve as your 2025–2026 Student Trustee. I am committed to fully representing student concerns across our campus community. As a former dual enrollment student, I understand the challenges with class scheduling and now, as a STEM student as well, I am aware of even more challenges that impact us. This is why I am determined to advocate for solutions to scheduling conflicts. Many students are unaware of this, but there are now after-hours facility charges for clubs and extracurricular activities that are hurting students, so I will also advocate for reducing this. Finally, I want to help develop a Maker Space/Science and Art Museum for learners of all ages to enjoy. I am informed, determined, and dedicated to ensuring that your voice is heard and acted up. Thank You!

ASG Senator: Diego Espinoza

Candidate Statement:

I am running for the position of senator because I am interested in the betterment of the school and for a better experience for students. I would like to have the opportunity to represent students from the special programs. I am a member of OASIS, Aspire Plus, EOPS and it is a great opportunity to be part of those programs. Without them, I do not know if I would have had the guidance and insight I have. They have helped me, and I believe I must help the students in special programs. I am hopeful that I will be able to create a meaningful impact on that population of students.
